St.Finbar Catholic Church was founded in 1938. It gained notoriety over the years for its innovations in adapting to its multiethnic community, offering Vietnamese-language Masses to a wave of immigrants from
Vietnam in 1975. The church now offers after-school programs for neighborhood children, so a renovation is needed to turn the church into a church and rec center for kids.
